The following tips should be fully understood, anyone can practice asanas, but they will be more effective if you apply the following tips:

Breathing:

Always breathe through your nose unless otherwise directed in a practice. Coordinate your breathing with the asana.

Be aware:

This is perhaps the most important and least understood piece of advice. It involves being fully aware of the breathing, posture, and muscles you're performing. Asanas are meant to be performed with the physical body, but if you develop a sense of awareness, they will have greater effects on the mental and spiritual levels.

Relaxation:

It's important to practice shavasana at some point in your practice to rest and gain awareness, especially when you're feeling tired and mentally exhausted.

Sequence:

You must be aware of the goal of your practice and what you want to achieve with it. This is done to create a set of asanas and movements that are harmonious and satisfying for your body's state. This will bring you to the desired level of relaxation.

Contraposition:

This means that when performing the advanced and intermediate group of asanas, it is important that the "backbends" be followed by "forward bends" and vice versa. Everything practiced on one side of the body should be practiced on the other. This is vital to returning the body to a state of balance. Sometimes, for therapeutic reasons, a counterposition may not be necessary.

Time of day:

It is possible to practice asanas at any time of the day.

The best time is two hours after sunrise. At this time, the atmosphere is pure and calm. There's also no stomach activity. It's the best time to prepare for a long day.

Practice location:

It should be a well-ventilated place that encourages calm and relaxation. It should be quiet.

Mat:

Use a mat made of natural materials that doesn't contain foam or air. This isn't appropriate for working on the supports and spine.

Clothes:

It's best to wear minimal clothing. The clothing you wear should allow for maximum movement.

Cold water bath:

Taking a cold bath before practice will enhance the effect of the asanas.

Empty stomach:

You should have an empty stomach when you begin your practice, three hours after eating. One of the reasons it's recommended to practice yoga in the morning is because your stomach is empty.

Effortlessly:

Don't force your muscles to reach a position. If you're a beginner, you'll likely find your muscles stiff. After several weeks of practicing yoga, it will become easier to perform more difficult positions and be more precise in easier ones.

Age Limitations:

Yoga can be practiced by any age group, depending on their physical condition and limitations.

Contraindications:

Anyone suffering from a physical condition such as fractures or chronic illnesses should take this into account when practicing these positions.

Completion of the asana:

If you feel pain in any part of the body you should stop doing that asana immediately.

Inverted asanas:

They should not be practiced if there is gas or fermentation in the intestine, during menstruation if there is excess blood, or in the later stages of pregnancy.

Sunbathe:

Asanas should not be practiced after prolonged sun exposure. This is to avoid overheating the body and possible headaches.
